Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a suitcase robbery where a substance thought to be irritant spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and charges for administering a noxious substance, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an investigation into an assault at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage stolen after getting out of a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A toddler was caught up in the incident in the event. Several persons went to hospital for treatment and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – which authorities stated was a standalone event and deemed non-terroristic – caused disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
