On Monday, the tribunal heard call records and data retrieved from phones documented Ms Wandelt consistently asking Madeleine's mother for a genetic test over 2023 and 2024.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - when she was three years old during a family holiday in Portugal - is one of the most publicized child disappearance cases and is still open.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

One phone message, presented in court, documented Ms Wandelt declaring: "I realize I'm fat and not pretty like Madeleine was, but I know what I know."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's voicemail stated: "Suppose there is a small chance that I am Madeleine? Then what? Wouldn't that be crucial for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I possess a life here in Poland, I just want to discover," the recording stated.

The panel was advised that via electronic messages, SMS messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt asked for a genetic test, forwarded early photographs to her phone in a effort to show a resemblance to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and asserted to have "flashbacks" from a early life with the McCanns.

The investigator, an intelligence analyst with the police force who compiled the evidence, told the court there "seemed to lack any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also reached out to acquaintances of the McCanns, as per the phone records.

On October 9th, 2024, the father answered a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "incorrect contact information."

On that occasion Ms Wandelt left a voicemail on Mrs McCann's answerphone declaring "I will persist and I plan to establish my position."

The court was informed the co-defendant established a connection via internet with Ms Wandelt preceding assisting her on a trip to the McCanns' property in Leicestershire in last December.

Phone records demonstrated Mrs Spragg had contacted via messaging service to Mrs McCann to state the news outlets had characterized Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she should be treated respectfully in the months before the appearance to that location, Leicestershire, in that winter.

The court heard communications between the two defendants, in November 2024, planning attempting to obtain Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her bins or from utensils at a dining venue.

"We have to make a stand," the co-defendant informed Ms Wandelt.

On the night of the appearance to their home, the defendant sent a message which said: "We find ourselves sat adjacent to the McCanns' house with our headlights off resembling detectives. I desired to do this with another person I never thought I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."

The case ongoing.
