Barça Set to Play First Match at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday

Barça revealed they will play at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou on Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in domestic competition 30 months after they moved out to allow renovations to start.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators can be present based on approved permits. When completed, the stadium’s capacity will reach close to 105,000 fans, up from the previous 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.

Recent Activities

The club conducted a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium on 7 November. They mentioned approval is being pursued by UEFA for their upcoming Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt in December in the renovated venue. Previous fixtures took place in the temporary ground.
